Burning this while I read is the closest I've gotten to a quiet Kyoto morning without leaving my apartment — the mossy, damp-earth notes are incredibly grounding. It's a contemplative scent, not a loud one, and the throw fills the room gently rather than overpowering it. Perfect for slow evenings.
The burn is slow and even, and the mossy, rain-damp vibe it gives off is weirdly calming for a living room in Brooklyn. I lit it during a tense phone call and by the end I was actually breathing slower.
The scent immediately transported me to a mossy Kyoto garden—it's remarkably grounding for evening meditation sessions. Burned it for about two hours and the fragrance stayed subtle yet present, never overwhelming the room.
