I’m using it on my entryway table for my keys, and the porcelain is heavy enough that it doesn’t slide around when I toss things in. The handmade feel shows in tiny glaze variations, which I actually like. It’s also the perfect size to hold a small candle when I’m not dumping pockets in it.
The glaze has this lovely matte finish that catches the light just right, and the handmade feel really comes through in the subtle imperfections. Fits my Philosykos spray perfectly, but I’ve also used it for a candle and my keys when I’m in a rush.
I keep it on the entryway table and it holds both my keys and a small candle without looking cluttered. The handmade Portuguese porcelain has a lovely weight to it, and the glossy finish feels substantial. Exactly the kind of everyday object that makes a corner feel deliberate.
